Sorry, fev, I just don't get it. What is Ghu's name is there to get exercised about in a perfectly unexceptional verb like "celebrate"? So athletes do it a lot; big deal.
I'm not bothered by athletes' celebrating. I'm a bit worried that a huge-market paper could have so little regard for the basic law of cutlines -- don't tell people what they're seeing; tell them what they can't see -- as to use "celebrate" four times in one issue. There's a really easy cure: Ban "celebrate" and tell me what the athlete is celebrating.
Four isn't a record (far as I know, during my time here, the record is six), but it's a sign that things aren't getting any better on the Execute The Fundamentals front.
